Wall Plugs Plastic Overview

Plastic wall plugs, cost effective expansion plugs for general use in masonry and concrete. These are often referred to under the brand name rawlplugs. Plastic Wall Plugs are available in all common colours, green, blue, red and white. Please refer to the chart down below for individual lengths and correlating screw size. All plugs within our range are designed to suit any of our screws providing you match the gauge.

Plugs are designed to be used in conjunction with a screw fixing, they are the most common form of masonry and concrete fastener available on the market. Firstly drill the correct size pilot hole into your masonry, brickwork or concrete. Then drive the correlating screw size into the plug. As you drive the screw into the wall plug, it will force the plug to expand outward, compressing against the masonry or brickwork and securely fastening into your substrate.

Wall Plug Plastic Features

• Tapered end for easier fitting and hammering into the drill hole.
• Designed for expansion on the total surface and length of the wall plug.
• External fins preventing rotation during tightening.
• Proprietary profile ensuring self-centering of the screw during fitting.
• Shields the screw along it's total length to provide protection against corrosion.
• Green wall plugs are by far the most common as they are designed to suit 8g or 10g screws
• Blue colour is the second most common as they will suit 10g or 12g screws.
